After crossing and a short section of the PDR, we turn east onto the Old Telegraph Track. The rest of the day is slower going as the track is quite challenging. Camp at Nolans Brook, a fantastic swimming spot. **Day 3: Nolans Brook to Eliot/Twin Falls (38km)** First challenge is crossing Nolans Brook, notorious for drowning vehicles. We'll get you across safely. Spend the day tackling the Telegraph Track's creek crossings that will test your four-wheel driving skills. Finish with a swim at Eliot Falls. **Day 4: Eliot/Twin Falls to Dulhunty River (58km)** After a refreshing morning swim and short stint on the PDR, we reach Cockatoo Creek, start of the Southern Section of the Old Telegraph Track. Before arriving at camp, we tackle Gunshot Creek. After crossing six creeks today, finish at the beautiful Dulhunty River with safe swimming by a small waterfall. **Day 5: Dulhunty River to Moreton Station (70km)** Easier day after yesterday's big challenges. The final Telegraph Track crossing at Palm Creek is tough - the winch will get a workout. After crossing, we finish the Old Telegraph Track at Bramwell Junction, then continue to Morton Station. **Day 6: Morton Station to Coen (189km)** Easy day on the PDR with a stop at Archer River for the famous Archer Burger, the best burger on the Cape. Great swimming spot in the Archer River. Finish at Coen with dinner at the Exchange Hotel. **Day 7: Coen to Kalpowar Crossing (261km)** Turn off the PDR for the last time, heading east towards the coast. Engage 4WD again on the Running Creek track to Lily Vale Station. Enter the magical Rinyirru (Lakefield) National Park with overnight camp at Kalpowar Crossing. **Day 8: Kalpowar Crossing to Starke River (157km)** Early morning barramundi fishing opportunity in the Normanby River. Turn onto the scenic Starke Track with a few tricky spots. Tonight's bush camp marks our final night camping in the bush. **Day 9: Starke River to Lions Den Hotel (144km)** Leave the Starke Track for Cooktown. Time to explore, grab coffee, and drive to Mt Cook for Captain Cook's historic view. Fishing opportunity at the town jetty before heading to the famous Lions Den Hotel. **Day 10: Lions Den Hotel to Cairns (228km)** Scenic drive through World Heritage areas, stopping at Cape Tribulation where the reef meets the rainforest. Continue south to Cairns for farewell dinner and stories from the past 10 days.
